"I never planned to be a wedding photographer, but fate had other ideas – and now, I couldn't imagine a more beautiful profession."
Adri’s Journey as a Wedding Photographer
I’ve been photographing since 2011, but if someone had told me back then that I’d become a wedding photographer, I would have just laughed. This world never really attracted me.
Even though I received several signs pointing me in this direction, I kept brushing them off. (I even accepted one wedding, but before we could sign the contract, I broke my wrist—so in the end, life said no for me.)
Then I met Geri. He had already been working as a wedding photographer for some time, and when he told me about the great opportunities in it, I just smiled. I was certain we would never work together—after all, the price of my two-hour photo sessions was nearly the same as his full-day wedding coverage.
As we grew closer, we started seeing into each other’s worlds. One day, I told him, “I’d like to come with you to a wedding sometime.”
I had no idea what to expect. That first experience didn’t fully convince me, but there was something magical about it. Standing beside someone on one of the most beautiful days of their life and capturing those moments—it was more than just a job. It was a responsibility. And an art.
Yet for a while, we let go of this path. We didn’t actively pursue it, we didn’t advertise ourselves in this field, but the inquiries kept coming.
Since it happened naturally, we accepted wedding bookings. But then came a moment when we realized: if we’re going to do this, we want to represent it at the highest level.
We leveled up. We don’t just take photos—we create films. Today, we don’t just deliver images; we tell an entire story—through motion picture as well. Because a wedding is more than a collection of beautiful moments. A wedding is a film, a feeling, a story—one worth preserving in the most beautiful way possible.
Now, we consciously limit the number of weddings we take on each year. We don’t want to create mass-produced photos or generic films.
We only work with couples who inspire us, knowing that the final result will be truly special. That way, every single image and film we deliver represents a level of quality we’re proud of—and one that our couples will look back on with joy, even years from now.
What I love most about weddings is delivering a photo collection that could easily belong in a fashion magazine. I have a passion for details and couple portraits, but capturing beautiful moments and the overall atmosphere is just as important to me.
